Everything you need to know

Before You Come to Bloomery

Where is Bloomery located?

You can find Bloomery Art Co. at:
3416 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 18103.

We’re nestled in small office center on Hamilton Boulevard, located across the street from Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, with convenient access to Route 222 bypass and I-78.

Parking is really easy and safe, especially on nights and weekends.

Here we are on Google Maps!

What's the parking situation?

Parking at Bloomery Art Co. is easy and convenient!

We’re located in a small office center with plenty of parking spaces available during nights and weekends. During workshops, please try to park as close to our doors as possible. We do share the lot with friendly neighboring businesses!

For teens after school clubs or summer programming, we kindly ask that parents keep drop-offs and pick-ups brief to avoid blocking access or disturbing our neighboring businesses. If you’d like to come in to chat, please have consideration for our neighbors during their operating business hours and keep it quick.

The lot is well-lit for your safety, whether you’re visiting us during the day or evening.

When should I arrive?

You're welcome to arrive early, but our classroom space will open to students 10 minutes prior to the indicated start time. This allows our teachers to prepare the space perfectly before you begin! Thank you for being patient.

Do I need art supplies for class?

Typically, all supplies are included in a class ticket price! If there are any additional items you might need, you will be notified in the communication before class.

If you'd like to bring your favorite tools for class, we encourage it! However, Bloomery Art Co. is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items.

What should I bring?

Honestly, just yourself and an open mind, ready for creating!

Some of our guests like to make a real night of it, though, which we love! Bring any snack or beverage for sipping if you prefer. We are BYOB friendly, with glasses and a corkscrew if needed!

Please do not bring food containing peanuts into our classroom, for the safety of folks with serious allergies.

Not many of our workshops are messy, unless otherwise noted in the description. We offer student aprons for classroom use.

We will email if there are specific things you'll need for class, but otherwise, we've got it covered!

Do you have iPads and Apple Pencils available for student use?

For our digital workshops, we’re pleased to offer classroom iPads and Apple Pencils for student use! We have a total of 10 devices available at this time, so you'll notice the digital classes are limited in spaces.

For those who are bringing their own tech tools, please review the required items carefully before registering for a class. Most of our digital drawing workshops require an iPad, an Apple Pencil, and the Procreate app (downloaded and ready to use) unless otherwise noted.

Are there age restrictions for your classes?

We design our workshops to ensure a fun and engaging experience for all participants. We also take our young people's experiences and safety seriously.

To maintain a safe and productive environment, we have the following age restrictions:

Adult Workshops:

Most of our workshops are tailored for adults (18+) of all skill levels. Teens aged 13–17 are welcome to join adult workshops ONLY if accompanied by a participating adult.

Summer Programs:

Select workshops are designed specifically for teens (ages 13–17) or preteens (10-12), held typically as summer intensive. These are perfect for budding young artists looking to explore their creativity. These programs are run by instructors with clearances on file, holding them to the same standards as a school professional.

Family-Friendly Events:

Occasionally, we host family-friendly workshops where all ages are welcome. These events will be clearly marked in their descriptions.

If you’re unsure whether a workshop is suitable for your child or teen, or have any questions, feel free to contact us for guidance!

Do you take photos?

We do try to capture the workshop magic by taking photos and videos of the students and instructors engaged in a project.

Don't want to be photographed? Not a problem. Just let us know as soon as you've arrived, and we'll make sure work around you and keep you out of the frame.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Because our workshops have limited seating and require advance preparation, the following policy helps us operate sustainably while remaining fair to our community.

  • All workshop registrations are final. We do not offer refunds.

  • Cancellations made 72+ hours before the class may receive studio credit equal to 90% of the class price. This adjustment accounts for non-refundable processing and administrative costs.

Studio credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid for 6 months.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class are not eligible for credit or refund.

  • Registrations made within 24 hours of a class are final and non-refundable.

  • No-shows cannot be refunded or credited.

  • Tickets are tied to a specific class date. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person for the same class date by emailing us their name prior to the class. Transfers to another class date are not allowed.

Thank you for understanding and for supporting our small business! This policy allows us to prepare thoughtfully, cover supplies and processing costs, and continue offering high-quality, inspiring workshops.

What happens if Bloomery cancels a workshop?

We do our best here at Bloomery Art Co. to run every valuable workshop, as our passion truly lies in educating our community. However, there is always a possibility that things won't go as planned.

Minimum Attendance:

If a class does not meet the required number of participants, Bloomery reserves the right to cancel or reschedule.

You will be notified before the class begins and offered a choice of a full refund or credit for another workshop.

Emergency Cancellations:

In the unlikely event of weather-related closures, instructor illness, or other emergencies, you will be contacted promptly and may choose a refund or credit.
