This event is geared towards adult learners, but teens 13+ are welcome to join a parent or guardian.

You’ll Learn:

✔️ How the cyanotype process works, including preparing and handling light-sensitive materials
✔️ Tips and tricks on arranging botanicals in a beautiful balanced composition
✔️ Techniques for successfully prepping, exposing, rinsing, and finishing prints

Included:

✍️ All high-quality cyanotype materials, including photography solutions, specialty papers, rinsing agents, and other small tools and bins to make the process run smoothly
🍿 Complimentary coffee, tea, and light snacks, provided for elevated guest enjoyment
🍷 This class is BYOB if you desire — we provide glasses and a corkscrew!

Meet Your Instructor:

Alania Mariano is a multimedia artist specializing in photography and film from Easton, PA. With a BFA in Fine Arts and minor in Fashion History and Culture from the University of Delaware, she has expanded her practice abroad studying in Italy and Tanzania. Alania specializes in capturing life's sweetest moments through her small business, Alma Collective LLC.

Important Details:

Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+). Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the workshop with them, and a signed liability waiver is required prior to class.
