Perfect for beginners and seasoned sketchers, you'll learn tips for drawing bird anatomy in an illustrative way, adding delicate feather texture, and layering in color with high-quality colored pencils. We'll provide reference photos of birds common to our region, while providing steps on breaking down complex forms into buildable lines and shapes before focusing on details — great for beginner artists to get a feel for drawing nature!
Come ready to look closely and enjoy the peaceful nature of observing and sketching our feathered friends. All drawing and reference materials are provided, and you'll leave with multiple bird studies and a deeper appreciation for nature.

Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+).
