✨Class Description
Small sculptures, bold accessories, and endless creativity!
This immersive summer programs gets learners sculpting, designing, and making their small but mighty ideas come to life! In this hands-on camp, teens ages 13+ will explore the colorful world of polymer clay art, learning how to shape, blend, and create one-of-a-kind pieces using a wide range of experimental techniques. Each day will focus on different projects, encouraging campers to think outside the box, play with color and texture, and design items that are wearable, giftable, and totally their own.
Our expert instructor, Kristine Caputo, is an art teacher and polymer clay maker with many years crafting her wearables and building her small business. 📌 Note:
This camp is designed specifically for preteens or teens ages 13–17 — students will use sharp knives and cutting tools with supervision. To ensure the best creative experience, we ask that all participants fall within this age range when registering. Thank you!
✨What You'll Learn
- Learn techniques to condition and prepare polymer clay for different projects
- Explore a variety of shaping, blending, and texturing techniques

Design, sketch, sculpt and assemble a variety of objects, including jewelry, trinket bowls, beads, and miniatures
- Experiment with different surface finishes such as sanding, sealing, and glazing for a polished finished look
✨Supplies Provided for Classroom
- Wide variety of polymer clays in vibrant colors
- All jewelry findings, magnets, cords, keychains, or other hardware for finished projects
- Sculpting and shaping tools
- Rolling pins, cutters, and texture sheets
- Glazes and finishing materials
- Baking stations (projects will be baked on-site for durability)
✨Additional Details
Complimentary light snacks and drinks will be provided each day. Each student may pack their own water bottle and snack for break time, but please make sure any food is peanut-free!
Since we'll be working with dyes, paints, and other messy materials, we recommend wearing clothes that can get a little colorful — or bringing an art smock to cover up.
