Get ready to create a unique vintage-inspired cat that’s perfect for Halloween decor!

This fun project is a great introduction to the tactile and satisfying art of needle felting, or for experienced felters to pick up some fresh new tips and techniques. Using colorful wool and simple tools, you'll learn the skills to create your own felted art on fabric, "painting" with the wool fibers for a unique effect.

At the end of class, you'll be ready to decorate for spooky season! You don't need any prior experience, and all the materials for your project are included.

This event is geared towards adult learners, but teens 13+ are welcome to join a parent or guardian.

Katrina Heebner's goal is making art a fun and accessible experience for everyone. She creates work in a variety of media, and enjoys exploring new materials and techniques to incorporate into her artmaking practice. When she teaches, she's all about helping people build confidence alongside their skills, creating a space where anyone can feel comfortable exploring their creative side. Her classes offer everything from laid-back sessions to unwind and de-stress, to hands-on workshops where you can dive in and take your artistic journey to the next level.
