Mindful Embroidery Stitching: Welcoming Color
If you have taken the mindful stitching class previously, your expert instructor, Heather, will have additional materials and inspiration to add to your toolbox. This project can spark a wonderful art practice to continue regularly, and joyful stitching within a group adds to the dynamic!
Students will go home with everything needed to continue their slow stitching exploration. This is a no experience necessary and no pressure class. Let’s enjoy an evening of calm creating through stitching together!
What You’ll Learn:
✔️ A variety of simple embroidery techniques for freeform stitching
✔️ The basics of mindful stitching, with techniques to follow
✔️ Inspiration and instruction on ways to approach color in your art practice
What’s Included:
📱 Technology to view inspiration photos, mood boards, and overhead views of the instructor's hands
🎨 All high-quality materials included — sewing materials, embroidery floss, felt journals (no embroidery hoop needed!)
📘 Instructions for sewing the books and a list of ideas for using your journal at home
💖 Support with creative exploration with materials and ideas!

Meet Your Instructor:
Heather Cavalieri is an artist working primarily in paper and fiber. She holds a BFA in craft with a focus in fiber art, bookarts, and drawing. Her work has been shown in galleries and selected for personal collections. Heather loves to teach and encourage others to create!

Important Details:
Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+). Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the workshop with them, and a signed liability waiver is required prior to class.
