Curious about drawing digitally but not sure where to start? Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help you fall in love with the app Procreate — the powerful, creative, and incredibly fun drawing tool for the iPad to take your art to the next level.
This class focuses on small, approachable drawing prompts that ease you into the digital world without overwhelm. You’ll explore digital brushes, layering techniques, color palettes, and helpful tricks — with a custom workbook for reference and to give you a good foundation to build your confidence in digital drawing.
📌 Note:
This event is geared towards adult learners, but teens 13+ are welcome to join a parent or guardian.

We’re proud to offer students access to top-of-the-line tools to support their creativity! Our studio is equipped with the latest-generation iPads and Apple Pencils, giving every participant the opportunity to learn using professional-level digital equipment — no need to bring your own device.
If a student prefers to bring their own iPad and Apple Pencil, that’s completely welcome too! Just be sure that the device has the Procreate app installed and is fully charged.
This workshop will provide:
📱 Classroom iPads with Apple Pencils, loaded with the Procreate app
✍️ Accessories for iPad, including drawing gloves
📘 A printed quick-start guide workbook to assist with learning (and to take with you)

Lauren Beck, lettering artist and founder of Bloomery Art Co., is known for her encouraging, beginner-focused approach to digital art. She’s taught hundreds of students how to embrace digital tools while keeping the joy of hand-drawn creativity alive.

Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+). Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the workshop with them, and a signed liability waiver is required prior to class.Inherent Risk & Safety:
