Treat yourself to a cozy, creativity-filled celebration, and fall in love with the art of printmaking! You’ll design and carve your own custom stamps, perfect for handmade stationery, cards, or tags for Valentine's Day. We’ll guide you through each step — sketching and transferring your design, using carving tools to reveal your custom art, and experimenting with inking and printing techniques to get crisp, beautiful results.

As an added treat, we’ll sip on mimosas and snack on yummy mini scones, provided by Sunny Moon Sconery, for a true love-yourself-and-your-gals experience!

This workshop is designed for anyone completely new to printmaking or those who have tried it before and want some fresh new tips. You’ll leave with 1-3 small stamps, as well as a variety of lovely hand-printed stationery with a Valentine's vibe, including tags, cards, and small prints.

📌 Note:

This event is designed specifically for adults 18+ only. Alcoholic mimosas are complimentary for guests 21+.

What You’ll Learn:

✔️ How to sketch a successful design and transfer it onto a printing block called Speedy Carve (easy on the hands when carving!)
✔️ Safe and effective carving techniques using linocut tools, to produce clean results and give your artwork a charming handmade feel
✔️ Inking methods for crisp, consistent impressions
✔️ Hand-printing techniques for both tags and wrapping paper

Olivia King is a graphic designer with a passion for illustration, logo design, branding, and printmaking. Outside of her creative work, Olivia is a dog mom, who enjoys running and hiking. Her approachable teaching style with professional tips will help you along to get great results while crafting custom stamps!

Important Details:

Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+). Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the workshop with them, and a signed liability waiver is required prior to class.
