Celebrate the beauty of the season with this special workshop — a collaboration between a local floral designer (Kassie from Fleur Deliz) + an artist (Ren from Bloomery)! Coming together through their love for colors and textures of a beautiful arrangement, you'll enjoy diving deep into the world of flowers with a truly memorable experience.

In this two-part class, guests will begin with guidance from Kassie to craft a unique low arrangement using her garden-grown dahlias and other seasonal blooms. You'll take part in an enjoyable chat about the types of flowers Kassie grows, with room to ask questions about her experience as a local grower and a new appreciation as you explore the varieties. As you move on to create an arrangement together, you'll explore textures and embrace movement, receiving plenty of tips and tricks for artistic compositions.

There will be a short buffer between experiences to enjoy freshly baked pastries, coffee and tea, as well as good conversation with our transition to another medium.

Guests will then move on to learning simple techniques in watercolor from Ren, exploring layering and washes to capture the floral beauty of the arrangements right on the table. You'll mix paint colors inspired by the florals and loosen up with relaxed botanical painting studies that anyone can do (even total beginners!) with guidance the entire time to get great results.

With this beautiful creative escape, you'll leave with your own crafted flower arrangement to enjoy at home, 1-2 small watercolor artworks that capture the essence of the bouquet, plus new skills in both these art forms to repeat again and again!

Meet Your Instructors:

Kassie Davis is the owner and florist behind Fleur Deliz, a Lehigh Valley floral studio specializing in seasonal, garden-inspired flowers. She creates organic, textural designs using blooms from her own garden alongside thoughtfuly sourced flowers. Fleur Deliz offers custom bouquets and arrangements, floral workshops, and flowers for intimate events. After experiencing postpartum anxiety, Kassie discovered gardening as a sense of healing. Today, she hopes to create floral experiences that invite others to find beauty in the everyday.

Lauren Beck is the artist behind Bloomery Art Co. and Ren & Ink LLC. Known for her encouraging style and clear, beginner-friendly instruction, she has taught hundreds of students to create with confidence. In this class, Lauren blends her love of flowers and appreciation for loose, relaxed watercolor painting. Her relaxed teaching style makes every student feel supported, encouraged, and proud of their progress.

Important Details:

Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this class is designed to inspire and excite you! Our beginner-friendly workshop is geared toward adult learners, but this particular instructor has PA clearances to safely work with teens (age 13+). Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the workshop with them, and a signed liability waiver is required prior to class.
