Slow down, notice the little things, and record your everyday moments through joyful journaling with drawn images. In this inspiring workshop, you’ll learn techniques to combine simple illustration with relaxed hand lettering to capture your small adventures and everyday delights. No need to be perfect, it's about regular practice and being present!
This class is both meditative and instructional — the perfect combination to unwind, get your drawing tools moving, break through creative barriers, and learn more about sketching from life and memory. We’ll explore easy drawing techniques, creative layouts, and prompts to help guide your reflection, no matter your drawing experience!
A simple journal is included (to fill and keep!), along with high-quality drawing supplies like Prismacolor colored pencils, a variety of markers, paint pens, lettering pens, collage papers and washi tape, and other special tools to loosen up and expand the creative possibilities. Make your journal your own, it's just for you!
📌 Note:
This event is beginner-friendly and geared towards preteen & teen learners. The instructor has all PA Clearances to safely work with youth.
